How to Grow Taller Naturally

For almost all the men and women height matters a lot. From the viewpoint of a personality also the height matters a lot and at the same time, there are also some jobs and professions where a minimum height is also required.

The height of a person is 70% of genetics and 30% of the additional external factors. Many things are beyond our control when it comes to height; many factors can help us grow to our full potential height.

External factors that affect the height of a person and some of the ways to increase it are as follows:

  1. Eat Healthy

Getting a healthy diet is essential to the growth of one’s body as what we eat determines how we grow.  The way to do that is to stick to a balanced diet and avoid high sugar and junk food which bards the growth of the body as they are very unhealthy for the body.

  1. Get Vitamin D

Vitamin D is a vital nutrient for the development of bones. One must have food that is naturally rich in vitamin D such as fish, eggs, mushrooms dairy products, pork, tofu or the sun. It helps in the growth of the bones which is a key factor in getting taller.

  1. Eat Zinc

One must have proper zinc such as peas, eggs, asparagus, chocolate, and oysters to promote the healthy development of the body. Food enriched with zinc is important for people especially children if they have slowed down their growth due to whatever reason.

  1. Get Enough Calcium

Calcium, as we all know, is the food to our bones and is highly important for everyone as it strengthens the bone which in turn can help in the development and growth of the bones. Food rich in calcium include soybeans, green vegetables, cheese, dairy products, and cereals. One must accommodate these things in their daily diet to get taller.

  1. Regular Exercise

Engaging in regular exercise is the best way to grow taller. Being physically active is what promotes growth, and one can achieve that by regularly working out or by being acquainted with some sports. One can add a couple of inches to his height even after attaining his puberty by making it a habit of working out on a regular basis. The logic behind this is that a working body requires many nutrients and these nutrients are then add to the growth of the body, making it tall.

  1. Drink Plenty of Water

Drinking water is very important as it helps one stay hydrated. A dehydrated body cannot grow to its full extent; therefore it’s very important to drink plenty of water as it helps your body flush out the toxins which improve the metabolism and hence helping the body grow tall. One needs to drink at least eight glasses of water daily to stay hydrated or can switch to water-based fruits such as watermelon etc. which has a high content of water.
